90 + 5 is a new creatively accessible and community driven production based on historical facts, footie and the world we live in today.
Whistle blows, the timer begins. and we have 90 minutes (unless the voice deducts time) to tell the story of Lilly Parr and Alice Woods following the ban of women’s football in 2021. But when the final whistle blows after yellow cards, new rules and VAR checks… what’s left of them?

This socially engaged show explored football culture & the surprising vehicle it becomes when depicting women’s history which we promise is a lot funnier than it may sound.

The work from the workshops was curated into an exhibition at National Football Museum during L.S Lowrys ‘Going To The Match Tour’ The organisations we have worked with are:
MU Foundation, LFC Foundation, Burnley Youth Theatre, Manchester Sight Loss Council, Sporting Memories, Ukrainian Refugee Group & Newground United
